One on One Duration and Frequency
The duration and frequency of One on One feedback sessions should depend on the needs of each employee and should allow the employee sufficient time to progress their actions between meetings.
When determining the frequency of your One on One feedback sessions you may like to consider
- New or developing employees will generally require more frequent sessions. (Weekly is reasonable for a new starter)
- Employees who are competent and content in their role will tend to require a shorter session and/or less frequency
- Be flexible, let each employee's needs drive your time allocation and frequency
