Follow-up Questions - Keep your Employee Talking

The trick to a great one on one experience is that you need to let your employee do 80% of the talking.

So you need to follow up with questions, such as

 

“How can you turn that around this month, John?"


“What can you try to improve your results next month, John?”


“That is an excellent outcome, what do you think you could share with others who are struggling?”


“You’re doing well, how could we stretch you?”
